SEEDS
Stop Motion Animation August 2025

A Film by Landon Galluccio & Henry Cordone
Written and Edited by Landon Galluccio
Animated by Landon Galluccio & Henry Cordone
Originally screened at the Jacob Burns Film Center Theater in Pleasantville, NY on August 15th, 2025
A little kiwi wishes to fly and takes to getting magical seeds that will grant his wish. As he continues to take the seed, he sees a large shoebill continuously getting closer to him. Eventually, the large bird is right up to him and goes in for the kill, but the kiwi persists and manages to take the monster down. The film aims at a message of addiction to drugs and how it can manifest in an individual until it consumes them. It is up to them whether they are willing to keep flying, or face their problems.
I directed, wrote, edited, and animated this short in under 2 weeks during Summer 2025. Production started with clay modeling and set building, which took a couple of days, and then followed with the animation process for about three days. Due to complications, I took on the responsibility of fully editing the film, which took one day, and final touch-ups the day after. Overall, I'm very proud of the final product despite the time constraints, and I hope you enjoy the film!

Rhode Island School of Design Pre-College Online: Animation
Final Project

A Film by Landon Galluccio
Directed, Animated, Written and Edited by Landon Galluccio
After weeks of online dating, two birds finally decide to take the plunge and meet in person. But their first real world date at a diner quickly goes into a total tailspin.
I directed, wrote, edited, and animated this short "YEP." during the 2026 animation course for the Rhode Island School of Design Pre-College Online Program. Although the original assignment called for a 15-second animated film within the 3 weeks production timeframe, the scope naturally grew as I pushed to expand my technical skills. I also chose to build the film entirely in Blender - a software tool completely new to me. Despite the long production hours needed to take the project from concept sketches to final linework, I delivered a finished 2+ minute film while gaining valuable experience using the preferred software application. I hope you enjoy this version of the final film, which also includes the animatic, rough sketches, concept art, and a peak into my animation process.
